The Cricketers is a small L shaped pub with two dartboards and a plasma screen that was airing muted BT Sports during a recent Tuesday evening visit. The jukebox was playing some background music and I noted that there is a resident DJ on Friday nights. Other events were advertised such as a medium on Halloween and a firework party. I found the service to be friendly, but the 1970’s attitude of a couple of twenty-something locals at the bar was cringeworthy. Youngs Ordinary was available alongside a standard keg range and I didn’t note the availability of hot food. I would give this pub another try if passing.
