Pretty much a restaurant these days. There's a small bar area where 3 locals were having a drink, the rest was taken up by dining tables. Upstairs there's another restaurant area. Flag floors , low ceilings and lots of nooks and crannies make it quite atmospheric, but it's not really a pub. I had a pint of fizz and MS CAMRA had a very nice glass of red wine. We'd eat here, but not call in for a drink again.

Old Boots left this review about William & Victoria Wine Bar
Looking like an art gallery or antiques shop from the outside, the upper floors are a restaurant and the basement houses a wine bar/brasserie. Guinness, John Smith Smooth and 1664 kegs plus a limited number of bottled beers from the likes of Becks and Peroni are available but naturally there is a wide choice of fine wines by the glass or bottle. Simple decoration of flag floor and plain walls, there is a vast array of blackboards listing the wines available complimented with a number of tasteful prints and maps. Casual drinkers are not unwelcome but there are limited facilities for them in the cramped dining focused space. A pleasant and elegant place to eat and drink but not in any way a pub.
