Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Mare & Colt
Main road Chef & Brewer establishment, out in the countryside south of Kidderminster but close to the vast Roxel site. Usual mix of the semi-traditional and corporate modern, although perhaps more at the Vintage Inns end of the spectrum than some of this family dining chain's outlets. Two real ales available from the three handpumps: Greene King IPA and Landlord (£5.05). So, nothing special, but at least it was still serving food during its advertised Wednesday evening hours, unlike the previous three pubs in Stourport earlier in my evening walk!

A Chef& Brewer pub which means you pay more for something better than Brewers Fayre. A dark pub with little private alcoves and low ceilings. The ales have always been ok if pricey. Nice place to spend an hour or two.

More of a resturaunt than a pub, but does serve real ale on a guest basis. Worth a visit for the food, which is reasonably priced and pretty good. Inside is a bit dark but comfortable.
