Alan Winfield left this review about The Station Hotel
This pub was originally called the Station Hotel, when we went in this pub it was called the Beresford Arms Hotel,i am not sure what it is now called but it is either of the two names i have mentioned
The Beresford Arms is situated away from the town centre in a fairly quiet area, this is a very large three storey victorian pub with parts of it having mock tudor black and white.
Once inside we went into a largish lounge type room that was comfortable enough but was lacking in any atmosphere, there were two real ales on the bar and we had a drink of Black Sheep bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Pedigree.
This was a new pub to us so i was pleased to find this one.
