A 17th century coaching inn set on the hillside. A large bar and drinking area with a real fire the room is extended into a very large conservatory. The real ale is from local breweries on top form when we visited. A selection of Belgian bottles beers is also available. The food menu is excellent. This up-market pub is well worth a visit, but can be difficult to find.
