Beautiful peaceful riverside setting. Outside tables on a lawned area on the waters edge of a "quiet" section of the River Dee. The inn has a stone flagged, beamed bar area with an open range fire. The restaurant areas have been carefully renovated and extended into cosy separate rooms extending from the bar. The excellent Real Ales come from local breweries like Weetwood and Plassey. A little hard to find but signposted off the A539 in a couple of places including by Overton Dee bridge by the Cross Foxes Inn.

After 10 months of closure, "The Boat at Erbistock" has reopened after being bought by Graham Price (who was part of Brunning & Price) and given an extensive refurbishment. Now serves 5 Real Ales from local breweries.
The bar has now been moved to a more central area and is accessible without steps. Some dining areas to the right of the pub are down steps.
