9 years later and I'm walking past and being lured into to this finely located pub.
Nothing to add, other than I use this site to measure beer inflation. £6.05 for Harvey's Sussex Best. Which means that inflation (at least for the beer tourist) is running at 5.8% per year.
2.8% my hairy aris.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Lion Hotel
Vintage Inn in a prime spot right by the River Darent, but with the coronavirus restrictions I was very surprised to see the beer garden out of use which just left the patio terrace and a limited number of socially distanced indoor tables. Managing to get one of the latter, I was pleased to find that the refurbished, multi-room, slightly split-level interior retains a reasonable amount of character. Beer-wise, just London Pride (£4.40) from the four handpumps, but that proved a refreshing pint.

Simply couldn't walk past this location. Picture postcard perfect.
Cask Marque accredited with one Real Ale - you've guessed it, Doom Bar.
Decent condition and £3.65 not outrageous for the setting.
