Cask offering of HPA and Butty Bach from Wye Valley with another unclipped handpump. Keg offering of Cruz, Arctic Sky cold IPA from Harbour, Neck Oil, Moretti, Asahi, Guinness and Orchard Gold cider from Gwynt Y Ddraig.
Another quaint village pub in the Vale of Glamorgan. Raised paved seating area at the front with patio and picnic style seating options. Inside the bar counter is to the left of the entrance in a bare boarded area with some tall tables with tall, backed stools in the window facing the bar counter. To the left of the bar counter is another bare boarded area with tables laid for diners. Internal walls are bare brick. To the right of the entrance is an original flagstone floor, regular tables, and chairs with a fire grate on the right-hand wall. An offshoot on this side at the end of the bar counter is a corner fitted banquette serving some tall tables. Out the rear is a beer garden, predominately grassed with picnic benches albeit there is a small, paved area immediately out the rear entrance. The venue was busy with a mix of drinkers and diners on my early evening visit, so good to see these village-based venues busy and I would imagine that would be the same independent of the day of the week.
