No cask. Keg offering of Estrella, Shipyard Pale Ale, blackberry Somersby cider, John Smiths, Holstein Vier, K1664, regular SB, Carlsberg, San Miguel, Fosters, Carlsberg, Angelo Poretti and Guinness.
This is a long rectangular venue, with a small seating area out the front on the busy main road. Inside it is carpeted with a small tile skirt around the bar counter, which is in the rear left-hand corner, with a number of stools on the tile skirt. There is a fabric banquette around the front window on the left-hand side and along the initial right-hand wall with regular tables and chairs in front thereof. The windows were opened up bringing the noise of the busy road outside into the venue. There are a few tall tables with tall stools dotted around the space also. There are quite a few TV screens on the walls showing Sky Sports and Sky Sports News with commentary. Not surprisingly a lot of Irish sporting memorabilia on the walls, but there were also some old, framed photographs of various Finchley sights. These N London Irish bars are not everyone’s cup of tea, but I thought this was a decent one to enjoy a pint of Guinness and watch live sport.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I walked up to the bar in this Irish shop conversion pub and spotted Greene King IPA and Tribute available. I had reservations about ordering any real ale, but my fears were unfounded as the Tribute was very good. No need to worry though as all the other traits for this kind of venue were there from the selection of standard draught to the many plasma screens showing the horse racing that was being studied by old men with red noses.
I found the barmaid that served me to be very nice and the other patrons were friendly enough once I had got settled. The carpet is a little bright, but the bar is laid out very well making it a very comfortable place to drink in.
I will pop back in here next time I'm passing.

A nice little Irish run pub that even though it does not sell real ale the Guinness was,as you would expect in an Irish pub, in good condition. On my visit the Cheltenham festival was on and the place was buzzing!. 10 minutes from Finchley tube station
