The Old English Gentleman is a nice looking whith painted pub that is set back from the main road.
Once inside there was a single L shaped room with the bar facing, there was a pool table and darts board to the right, the seating was mainly small tables and stools but there were two settees, the room was carpeted throughout.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Bottle Brook Full Moon which was a very nice drink and also quite cheap, the other beer was Coppice Side Derbyshire Blonde.
The pub was quite busy with a mixed bunch in on my Saturday dinner visit,i was quite happy having a drink in this pub.
When i first went in this pub it was a Bass tied house, the pubs name still looks like Bass type letters on the outside.
