No cask. Basic keg offering of Carling, Stella, Guinness, Stowford Press, original and dark fruits SB, John Smiths, Madri.

Typical Harvester set up albeit this one had a bigger bar area than some of the other venues I have been to at date of visit, particularly in Cardiff. This one, as often is the case, had some outside seating on picnic benches at the front. Inside the bar counter is on the wall opposite the entrance and the immediate bar area is a mixture of tiles and bare boards. Seating is via regular tables and chairs before offering some banquettes, booths over to the left of the bar area on a slightly raised carpeted area with a fire grate against the rear wall. The Harvester restaurant area seemed to be more over towards the right-hand side of the venue, and I didn't trek over to that side for a gander. There were quite a few TV screens showing a variety of channels and this place had a low energy vibe. Not one of the stunners for sure.

This place is pretty much what you'd expect from a Harvester, a small bar selling generic draught tacked onto a large restaurant waited on by students.

My pint of Guinness was acceptable and although this place serves a purpose I prefer a proper pub with some atmosphere.
