No, not a Carol King-themed pub, the Jolly Milkman as was, dates from at least the mid-19th century, possibly a rebuild from the 1930s, the current name arriving in 2003.
As mentioned, this seems to be more of a Spanish tapas restaurant, but hosts Brazilian Nights (as in the country, not lifestyle choice), where you can be serenaded by women dressed like a fruit salad. The interior doesn’t seem to be too Avant Garde – not that I had long to look at it – with just two pairs of customers.
There’s no cask here, so when approached by a barmaid, I asked for a half of Leffe, only for a gruff Hispanic type to overrule her, barking ‘Closed!’, this at 9.47pm on a Thursday, despite the advertised closing time of midnight.
Even if served, I wouldn’t have bothered coming here again, the intervention of the rude barman proving that the Tapestry has completely lost the thread, hombre.
If in SW14, stick to the Hare & Hounds.

Still a bar serving tapas and Spanish food but really not your traditional pub. No real ale, didn't spot any handpumps on my very fleeting visit.

More of a foodie place than a pub. Neat inside. Has disabled access. Food served all day, but no real ale. Guinness is £3.50 a pint.

This is certainly more a restaurant than a pub. There are a couple of hand pumps on the bar that have been polished to death and look very good, it's just a shame that nothing comes out of them. Amstel, Kronenburg, Budweiser and Guinness are all available on draught, but as I fancied an ale I opted for a Coke rather than walking straight out. I was a little surprised at being charged £1.95 for a half. At £3.90 a pint, the urine was royally extracted from this mug!
As a restaurant the place has a bright airy feel and the latino type music in the background gave a relaxed chilled out atmosphere. I liked it and if I was in the area with the wife I'd pop in for a bite to eat as the food smelt good and the waitress/barmaid was very friendly.
If this was a restaurant review site this place would be getting a great rating from me, but unfortunately it isn't.
