An historic-looking building which was apparently once a garage but has had various identities since and now houses a modern bar and Italian restaurant. The front section is a smart area for drinkers, with an assortment of high and low tables and stools, while the larger dining area behind is equally smartly furnished, albeit with the mandatory unfinished and ducted industrial ceiling. Three handpumps on the front counter offered Park Killcat with Fullers Broadwalk and London Pride. Sadly the first two were off but the Pride was in surprisingly drinkable condition, the best I have had for some time. A few European and craft beers were also available on tap. The food is not cheap but is of high quality.
