This pub was originally known as the Case is Altered, but has been part of the No. 8 hostel chain since at least the summer of 2010.
Available for those aged 18-48 only, it’s as described below, the website claiming that it’s in ‘…peaceful Wilesden’, so perhaps the locals have now fitted silencers to their handguns.
A cheap place to stay only, in a postcode that can’t even boast a Wetherspoon.

No cask. Keg was Guinness, Fosters, Inch's, K1664, Stella, Moretti and Neck Oil.
This is a bar at the side of a hostel type hotel, part of a small chain of such establishments. The bar area is to the left of the check-in desk and the bar counter is L shaped around the entrance to the space. Ceramic tiling around the bar counter otherwise the rectangular room is bare boarded. There are backed stools around the bar counter but this time I was the only punter occupying. The tables along the left-hand side of the bar were tall with tall, backed stools but the front bay window space was occupied by a pool table. The venue opens out a bit at the back with another pool table, plenty of regular seating. The TV's here were all switched off on my visit, the ambiance provided by a jaunty pop soundtrack. There was an outside covered seating area at the rear of the premises. Pretty basic and not one of my quaffing highlights that's for sure.
