Soup Dragon left this review about Nelson Inn
This is a detached pub with attached accommodation. It looks like an original late Georgian beerhouse, very plain and in white painted brick. The central entrance is no longer used - entrance is at the rear. There is a small patio. The pub has two rooms in cream and beam look and set at an L-shape. The bar room has a pool table and dart board, there is no TV and although there is a jukebox, music came via the radio. The carpet is very worn and there are bench seats, but the room is half filled with clutter on the floor. Lots of pump clips decorate and the service and locals are friendly. Old settles mix with tables and chairs for seating. Beer; usual taps with GK IPA, Special Reserve, Brasilia and A decent Ludlow Stairway. A quirky place that may be sold for development. Needs a tidy-up, but has a good old fashioned feel.
