This was once the William IV and I don’t know why or when it was recently renamed the Sheep Walk Tavern; what I do know, is that it was once a Watney’s house, as there’s a Watney Combe Reid roundel to the first floor of the north wall.
What we have now is a Portuguese restaurant to the left-hand side, then a bar to the right, with TV and pool table, the whole brightly lit with a pale/white colour scheme. Customers were few, though perhaps some were enjoying the cabaña to the side.
There’s no cask here, just a basic fizz range and as I’d had a night of fizz on my W3 mini crawl, I decided to leave as I was starting to belch uncontrollably.

This is a no frills boozer that isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I liked it even though there is no real ale. An unremarkable selection of generic draught is available, but it is served by a very friendly barmaid. There is a pool table and a couple of screens for sports that were showing the horse racing whilst I was in. All pints are £2.70 at the moment with John Smiths Smooth coming in at £2.50.
I thought that this was one of the better pubs in Acton that I have been to.
