Strongers . left this review about Foleys

This is a pretty grim place and needs some decoration. I thought it a bit sparse, but I've come to realise that this must be a live music venue. It looks like someone's tatty old living room with a bar, plasma screen and pool table plonked in it.

The barmaid was very nice, but there was only a generic selection of draught available.

There is a small selection of books on some shelves next to a sign for ‘Foley's Book Club' in which you can take any book away with you if you swap it for another, which I thought was a nice idea. It's also been a while since I saw a barmaid disappear down to the cellar via a hatch behind the bar, great stuff!

I'm sure that this place serves its purpose very well, but I can't really see myself returning.
