Old Boots left this review about O'Briens

Proclaiming its Irishness on the outside with the big Guinness signs, the interior is even more Irish in spades. The walls are covered in photos, mirrors and ads of Irish origin, a fair bit being Guinness related. It’s not a big pub, one short room with the counter rear left taking up about a third of the pub’s length. Two T-Bars of Guinness and other standard kegs. Banquette seating down both sides at wooden topped cast iron tables, a couple of posing tables are opposite the counter, one occupied by the least poseur customer I’ve seen in a while, he was glued to one of the three screens in the place showing darts. There’s a beer garden to one side. No Irish people in as the other punters were all drinking Guinness.

The cosiest of Ealing's Irish bars, a mirror inside states "Welcome to O'Brien's Free house", but there's just the Guinness as usual. Another shop-type conversion extending back rectangularly, the bar is towards the back against the left-hand wall, with upholstered bench seating aft along with tables and chairs and plenty of Oirish paraphernalia on the walls. There was live music on my Sunday evening visit (guitar and fiddle), which was quite enjoyable, and atmosphere-wise, this was probably the friendliest of the bunch.
