Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Ship Inn
Pub / restaurant in a fine position above the marina overlooking the lake, with a split-level terrace if you can manage to bag one of the outdoor tables. Parts of the light-wood interior can also offer views from certain seating / dining areas. Two banks of three handpumps on the island bar, but just Theakston's Best (£3.90) available when I stopped by en route to the ferry.

Situated on Bowness Marina the Ship was extremely busy on our Saturday afternoon visit. The pub has a central island bar with 3 cask pumps although only 2 were functioning today.The pub has a 2 tier outdoor area with pleasant views over the marina and the lake.
