This hotel has a bar (named the 'Woolsack Bar') open to non-residents and which is located to the left via a glass door on entry. There's small breakout area with limited seating in front of an open fireplace, with an open doorway to its left leading the bar area - a bare-boarded room with a chamfered L-shaped bar in the right-hand corner of the room, a stone fireplace against the far rear wall, more varied seating and a dark grey colour scheme. A solitary ale - Wickwar Falling Star - was available at the steep price of £2.60 for a half. Not one of the destination venues in Burford by any stretch, but if you want to visit them all, then it's there...
