Strongers . left this review about The Chimneys
Named after the ample stacks on the roof, the Chimneys is a large pub a stone’s throw from junction five of the M53, so I wasn’t surprised to find lots of parking space in the grounds. Steps lead up to the entrance that is faced by the bar counter which supports premium keg alongside three hand pumps that were badged with TT Landlord, Sharp’s Doom Bar and Wainwright, the latter being off. To the left of the bar down a couple of steps is an extension that feels like a dining area. This backs onto a patio that isn’t the quietest place due to the passing traffic. To the right of the bar counter down some steps is another seating area that leads to another patio, this one is a bit quieter being shielded from the traffic by the building. The service was polite, but this place gave off the vibe of a hotel bar so I don’t plan on revisiting.

Fairly typical Vintage Inn, nicely furnished with extensive food trade but comfortable enough for a pint or two. Handy for nearby main roads.

A large mainly open plan pub that has a number of different areas to eat and drink in. Real ale is available. Set back off the main road. Nice inside.
