Strongers . left this review about White Lion
The White Lion has a central bar counter that serves a small L-shaped seating area with a dartboard in the front left and the lobby and larger wooden floored area to the right were stools are found alongside worn and stained banquettes. DJ equipment on the right-hand wall is flanked by two fireplaces that were loaded with coal ready for a drop in temperature. In the left rear is a room with a pool table and another dartboard and a carpeted flight of stairs at the rear climbs to somewhere I didn’t investigate. With only standard keg available I think this is somewhere I’ll walk past next time.

Three roomed pub, small room to the left which was full of kids and a larger room to the right with big speakers for karaoke, both with nice fireplaces. There's also a separate pool room with a dartboard. There's also a large beer garden to the rear. Very loud heavy rock music being played from the jukebox at 4 in the afternoon. No real ale, so I had a half of Carling for £1.50. Won't be bothering with this one again.

On the adjacent corner to the Boot Inn Wether's. A two roomed, traditional style Thwaites pub. No real ale. Not even any from Thwaites themselves.
