During a couple of recent midweek afternoons walking around EC1 the Clerkenwell & Social was the only pub I visited that had a bouncer, which I found odd, but he was a friendly chap. The outside was very busy and the inside with open plan high tables was quiet, which is the case in most pubs in London on a nice sunny day. The counter across the rear wall supports premium keg alongside a couple form Camden Brewery and Alpacalypse that I’m seeing everywhere at the moment. A pizza food menu is available. I liked the lively music and the service was polite, but this place is too urban cool for me, so I doubt I’ll ever return.

Small bare boarded interior with full length windows on 1 and 1/2 sides with some tables outside. Keg and "craft" keg served. Food served.
