Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Macs Bar
Right old-school bar directly opposite the entrance to Rothesay's impressive moated castle. Apart from a solitary formica table at the back, it initially appears to be just standing at the counter and by the slot machine. However, there turns out to be a larger and more upmarket lounge (with pool table) beside this. Sports-related decor. Rather surprisingly, it does do real ale and a perfectly respectable pint of Robinson's Dizzy Blonde (£3.00) was served from one of the two handpumps.
