Small bar with sky sports, horse racing and keg beers.I have passed this bar about 200 times and had no inclination to visit as its not my thing.Thought I would give it a go while waiting for a curry.Bottled Doombar and a rather good bottle of Pride from the fridge.Reasonably priced as well A micropub before micropubs were invented.

From a distance you would think that this was still a café, but you'd be very much mistaken. Enter and you'll find a very friendly barmaid/landlady serving up Stella, Fosters, Carlsberg, Carlsberg Export, Strongbow, J. Smiths Extra Smooth and of course Guinness.
There is an area available for seating outside and the bar itself is the size of a large living room. I've not seen a living room with 3 screens showing Sky and Setanta before though.
I'm not that keen on pubs/bars playing commercial radio stations through their speakers as I find the talking and adverts a little irritating. I'm not too bothered with the radio though as I would probably only head here if a game was on as the Paddy Power across the road makes for a great sport viewing location.
