This is more Cafe bar / Bistro than pub and indeed the clientel on my mid week - mid afternoon visit was weighted heavily toward "Ladies doing lunch" before the school pick up, with just a couple of other "were only here for the beer" types sat near the bar area. It does though in my limited experience of the town seem to be the place to come for a more interesting local beer range,the three handpumps were showcasing Bowman Black Drop, Irving Type 42 and Flowerpots Perridge Pale, three craft keg on offer with Deya Magazine Cover, Tiny Rebel Vibes and Red Cat Musica, normal keg stuff was also available. Not trad drinking but well worth a visit.
