E TA left this review about The Sign Of The Don
A sprawling, chaotic restaurant and bar comprising several rooms with a couple of different entrances, a pub of two rather disjointed halves. It was busy, but despite there being several tables empty, we were told we couldn't eat although it wasn't clear why. As there was no real ale on, and the wine list looked rather over-priced, we went elsewhere. I might come back for a meal sometime, but I doubt I'll want to come back for a drink.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Sign Of The Don
Semi-modern 'L-shaped street-level bar and downstairs bistro linked to the Don restaurant across the alley. Normally very inconspicuous, but recently an 'A'-frame board has appeared outside advertising Adnams beers in addition to the expected still and sparkling wines, sherries and ports. It would have been too much to expect any real ale, but there are taps for Dry Hopped Lager (£2.25, half) and the imported Lagunitas IPA.
