It’s a long time since I’ve been in an O’Neills, I actually thought they’d fizzled out. It’s not as in your face Oirish as I remember, this place feeling more like an open plan late night drinking barn. Carling was available alongside a range of premium and craft keg products. High tables run up the centre and there’s some raised seating across the right-hand wall, which may double up as a stage for the advertised regular live entertainment. A pool table sits in the front right corner and obviously there’s a photo booth, the staple bit of kit in the Printworks. I never really liked O’Neills and this is one of the poorer examples I’ve visited.

now a fizzpop drinking barn rather than an eatery but still to be avoided. i'll never understand why people like to drink in these places

As far as being a pub this is term should be used loosely with regard to here. It is basically an eatery with a very limited choice of fizzies on. A largish open plan place that's really only to visited if you are eating.

It's difficult to see how they could have made this place blander. It's a square box with a few partitions, walls painted in pastel shades with very little decoration. There's a small bar at the front left serving the most boring selection of keg beers that you could imagine. If you're one of those people who don't like pubs then this is the place for you. Truly awful.
