Ancient and picturesque old inn with lots of beams and panelling. Main bar aimed mainly at diners, with a separate and less well-furnished 'village' bar behind, also a function room round the back. Outside there are some tables on the front and a beer garden over the road by the car park. Not well signed from main road so aim at the church.

This is a detached cream rendered, partially brick faced village pub, located next to the church!
The interior had two rooms; bar and lounge. Both had white wall decor, with lots of old photos, with other memorabilia and things, such as a piano in the lounge. The lounge was open plan, with a great stone fireplace and old wood partitions. All over had the wood beam look, with stone paved floor. There was food on, but we didnt eat. Service was very friendly, but we were the only people in.
Beer; tap stuff, with a great Spekky Hen on handpull, with Exmoor Ale and London Pride (neither are to my taste).
I really liked this place, a great village pub to return to given the chance.
