Slightly forbidding from the land side, but nicer from the beach, this is a smallish hotel with a large, nicely-decorated art deco-themed bar opening out onto a sun terrace. Very popular with beach goers and has a busy food trade. Four handpumps offered Wolf Golden Jackal, Adnams Southwold Bitter, St Austell Anthem and Woodfordes Wherry. Pleasant enough and fulfills its purpose well.
