The Duke of Wellington is traditional pub with an attractive Tudor style exterior. The entrance leads to a tile floored lobby with a snug to the left and L-shaped bar to the right. The rear is open plan with high tables and televisions for watching live football. Down the right is a long seating area and dartboard. Traditional fixtures and banquette seating are found throughout. This is a Holts pub so their usual keg is available and the two hand pumps were both badged with Bitter. This is a nice pub that’s well worth a look.

The Duke of Wellington is a decent looking pub that is on a fairly quiet street.
Once inside this pub seemed unaltered with about three different rooms that would suit anybodys taste, this pub is a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on here i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a really nice drink and also very chaep the other beer was Holts mild.
This was a really nice pub and it is still run by Holts brewery to this day.
Well worth a visit.
