Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Sir Stanley Gray
Thorley Taverns pub in a splendid position on the cliffs overlooking Pegwell Bay. The interior features two separate bars and restaurant, but the place to be on a scorchio and near windless bank holiday lunchtime was the balcony terrace with glorious early Spring views. Better still, while reasonably busy, it was all very civilised too. Four real ales on handpump: both versions of Bombardier, Abbot and a very good pint of the local Gadd's No 5 (£3.65).

Graham Coombs left this review about Sir Stanley Gray
Seafront pub in Thorley Taverns group. The long low frontage on the roadside belies the interior, which has a nicely furnished bar at one end and a restaurant area at the other, with a further small bar between, all with good sea views. On the sea side is a rather splendid balcony area looking out over the bay, while down at beach level there is a further bar and an extensive beer garden with children's play area, however the lower levels do not appear to be used in the winter. Draught beers included one from Gadds along with others from Belhaven and Courage. Car parking is shared with the hotel opposite.
