Komakino . left this review about Highway Inn
Another hotel with a small bar. This has slightly more traditional surrounds with the bar dark wooded and with supporting columns each end, dark wooden boards on the floor, a mixture of exposed stone, render and wallpaper on the walls (and what looks like an Interwar stone fireplace) with a flagstones corridor leading to a small courtyard out back which serves as the establishment's "beer garden". Some al fresco seating out front too which is great on a clement day. As the bar is tiny, the ale range was limited to Hook Norton Hooky and something I'd never heard of before - Cotswold Lion Shepherd's Delight - a pale 3.6% ale, which was just right for the weather. A nod on the ale range seeing how small the bar is, but you wouldn't want to time your visit badly, as you'd be in for a wait.
