Strongers . left this review about The Beerhouse

The Beerhouse is the third Gusto Pronto venue that I’ve visited this year, and it is the most superior seeing as it’s the tap for Brewshed, which is up the road and also owned by GP. The building is curved meaning that the interior is a curved L-shape with a well-trodden wooden floor and central counter that faces benches and seating around the exterior walls. There’s a burner in the fireplace on the right-hand wall and the décor is mostly made up by graffitied lists of the available beer and framed certificates. I counted five hand pumps on the counter and four were in use drawing the brewery’s Pale, Best, American Blonde and Smoked Porter. I went for the session Pale that ran out mid pour, but the very friendly barman had the barrel changed in a jiffy, which was a bit of a shame because I didn’t think it was the greatest of brews. There are also ten keg fonts on the white tiled back bar for the craft keg. There was only one other customer when I entered, but an afterwork crowd started trickling in partway through my visit. I wasn’t a fan of the pint, but I did like the pub and will return when next in town to try something else.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Beerhouse

Excellent brew-pub within a short distance of the station. Light, alehouse-style furniture and decor in the two main seating / dining areas. With five of the seven handpumps in use, and all ten keg taps operational with their Brewshed beers plus Aspinall's cider, the range of styles was excellent. I settled for a New Zealand Pale (£3.70) but could happily have tried many others.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Beerhouse

Well worth a visit as they have a great range of ales. There where 8 on handpump on my visit, I enjoyed the Oakham Inferno, Dales Ales Golden Daffodil and Old Mill Brewery Willows Wood. The Pub itself is quite minimalist and has lots of seating and tables made up from large pieces of light coloured timbers. They also have a microbrewery on site and I missed out on tasting their own Brewshed beer as it wasn't on. Will defo call again.
