I came here while cycling around the villages north of Hereford for photos for this site. Thirsty work. This is a country pub with a large car park, and the main room was dominated by diners, mostly grandparents with schoolchildren, presumably their grandchildren, but I didn't quiz them. The smell of fish and chips drove me in search of another room, and thankfully there is a smallish public bar which is more basic but still comfortable and which was blessedly free of food smells. In fact it was quite pleasant. Beers included Hobsons Town Crier, Wye Valley Bitter and a guest from Sharps, though not the usual suspect. Beer was in good condition, and saw me on my way refreshed.
