Strongers . left this review about The Vault
The Vault has a U-shaped bar on the mid rear wall with a counter that faces to the right, standard and premium keg were available alongside Pedigree on the lone hand pump. There’s wooden floored seating all around the windowed exterior walls and in the left are a couple of raised carpeted seating areas. Some very low background music was playing while muted tennis via Sky Sports aired on the television. The service was polite, but the midweek early evening clientele seemed to be older couples out for their dinners and local pissheads who looked like they’d been on the lash since the moon landings. The service was polite, but I didn’t gel with this place and I’ll not be returning.

The Vault seems to be popular with the younger crowd. My spirits lifted a little when I saw Bath ales Gem but it wasn't on! I had to make do with Atlantic Pale. Not for me this one, stick with the Ale Stop round the corner!

Tried to call in here last night at just after 10 p.m. We're closing said the barman despite the fact that their opening times are posted next to the door and definitely say midnight on a Sunday. It was fairly busy as well, so it wasn't lack of custom.

A bit of a poor trendy cafe/wine/whatever bar. A single roomed place with no real ale and some arty farty paintings on the walls. As Mr Rydings says its best to continue on your way.
