E TA left this review about Mortimer Arms

As described by others, although the beer situation has deteriorated since those reviews were written. The short, comfortable side of the L-shaped bar was being hogged by a lady with toddlers, although the main bar had a good crowd in. Parking was easy enough, while the weather precluded outside drinking. Eight handpumps on the bar, though only one was dispensing beer. The ale in question was Fuller’s Grand Slam, and it was in good condition. Also available were Guinness, Thatcher’s Haze, Siren Lumina, Meantime Curry Haze, Grolsch and Cornish Orchards cider, not a bad line-up as keg goes. The young staff were pleasant and helpful, and treats were available for our dogs. It’s probably awful when Paulton’s Park is running at full throttle, but this visit on a wet Winter’s evening was fine.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Mortimer Arms

Upmarket pub, restaurant and hotel with various extensions to the original building. Features a 'L'-shaped bar with comfortable furniture with mostly farming and horse-related prints for decor. Beer garden tables along both main facades. Duplicated clips on the two banks of four handpumps for Boon Doggle and Forty Niner from Ringwood and Flack Manor Double Drop (£3.80).

Old Boots left this review about Mortimer Arms

The Mortimer Arms is located just outside Paultons Park amusement attraction, it offers bar, dining and rooms. Equally handy for the New Forest and the motorway. It's a nice old building with a long bar at one side and a large dining room beside it. Two banks of four pumps serve local beer Flack Manor plus Ringwood and Doombar, a couple of t-bars serve members of the national lager favourites. I dropped in just after lunch service and the Flack Manor couldn't have sold that day having the sweetish off taste of an unpulled line, the Doombar was very acceptable condition wise. The service was fine, and the decor is a range of interesting pictures.
