Still entirely as the previous review and rather feels as though it has not received much attention since then either. Primarily a locals' pub with a slightly tatty feel to it but friendly enough.

This is a hotel, so yes, it does accommodation, but it is also a pub and eatery, with a patio area. The pub is in Georgian style, with a larger building and a side extension, with quions, in white render and black paintwork. It has a a few bay windows, with all the sash windows sympathetically replaced. The interior has a sort of a T-shape room that is in white, cream and green, with some wood panel. One part is more a bar (tile floor), the other a lounge (wood floor) and there is a pool table to the left, near a fish tank! and a dart board too. There is a great fireplace feature at the back and there are a few bits of ephemera dotted about and old photos of St Keverne and a few prints were on the walls. The TV wasn't on and the music was general and at a decent level. They do food, but i didn't eat so can't comment on that. The service was very good and there were a few locals in. Beer; usual tap stuff with Doombar and an OK Betty Stoggs on handpull. A nice enough place, just needs a little more on the real ale front for me - but i would definitely pop back in for one.

Popped in here for Sunday Lunch when we were on Holiday visiting the in-laws. The bar staff were friendly and the general ambiance was very welcoming. The food had a home cooked feel that was very tasty. Unfortunately we were due to returned home the next day. Otherwise I’m sure we would of returned. Would recommend to all.

A disappointing visit - arrived at 1 pm on a Sunday for the Sunday Lunch advertised on their web site. There were no more than 4 people in the place and when I asked about the Sunday Lunch I got a very abrupt response of "sold out". One of the customers, who appeared to be the local vicar, seemed embarrassed enough by the inhospitality to approach us an tell as of another local place where we could get a Sunday Lunch.

Local village square public house, offering good food & beverages as well as Bed & Breakfast. Located in easy reach of the Manacles.
