The last time I visited this place many years ago, it was a nightclub called Exit 22. A lot has changed since then, it's now a roadside eatery with rooms. There's an area to the right as you enter with some leather chairs, but the rest of the pub is set up for dining. The bar is straight in front of you as you enter. It's a Lees pub and had 3 handpumps on the bar serving Lees Bitter, Hoptimist & Draymans Choice. The Hoptimist had the typical metallic Lees taste and very few hops, but it was kept well enough. There are some nice views over the nearby reservoir & Rishworth Moor, if you don't mind the M62 getting in the way. I'm glad I called, but it's not really a place to just call in for a drink anymore unless you're sitting on the outside tables, which wasn't an option on our visit as it was blowing a gale.
