Strongers . left this review about Oak Tavern
Available from the bar in the right-hand side of the Oak Tavern is a standard and premium keg range alongside cask ales from Adnams (2x), Wainwright and Greene King (IPA Reserve). A range of bottled Belgian beers are also available and there is a yearly beer festival around August time. During a recent Sunday afternoon visit the bar and adjacent seating was packed with locals, so I had to stand by a small table in between this right-hand bar area and the left-hand side that houses a pool table, dartboard and two plasma screens for airing BT Sport. Muted Formula One was being aired whilst some low background music played from the jukebox.
At the rear of the pub is a car park and patio with a covered seating and a heated smoking area. As far as I could tell traditional opening hours are adhered to. I found the service to be friendly in this decent backstreet local so I would gladly return.
