Punch Taverns run local pub just on the Moulton Road going out of Town. Wasn’t going to bother as the local CAMRA site had it down as having no real ale, but had an external chalk board advertising real ale along with home cooked food menu and the ubiquitous Sky sports for the horse racing.
The real ale turned out to be a solitary available handpump with Adnams Broadside which was decent enough to sup whilst watching the grand prix on the available screens.
Comfortable enough place but not one I would rush back to and it seemed to mainly be popular with the local stable lads. Probably another of the towns pubs that comes into its own on a race day.
