Battered locals pub which had all the wrong things - COVID grey paint, daytime TV up against some modern music, bar blockers and silent old men. On the positive side there were two ales, an odd but exciting combo of Bass and Theako OP. The Bass was fair (NBSS 2.5). I was happy to jump on the next bus back to civilisation and leave them to it.

The Station is a decent looking pub that is at the bottom of hough hill and next to the level crossings.
Once inside there was a drinking porch and a lounge to the left which was in darkness,the lounge had a pool table in it,we went into the bar which was on the right this was a smallish room with the bar on the left,the seating was fairly basic and there was a tiled floor and a real fire on the go,the entertainment on our visit was a dart board and a TV showing horse racing.
There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Salopian Firkin Freezing which was a well kept drink but too hoppy for my liking,the other beer was Pedigree.
There was a good crowd of locals in on our dinner time visit.
This is a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in.

Excellent landlord/Lady all ages catered for private rear garden for adults and children, regular entertainment, also outside smoking catered for too.
It's an all in one pub
