March 2010: A low-level, modern brick and white rendered place, that doesn't even have its name up - i thought it was closed at first

I saw a single room, though i think there was another, which was in beige, with pool table and bar footy. There was a big screen TV, which wasn’t on when I visited. It was like a working men’s club feel, with bare walls and a few ripped seats. The service was very friendly, the clientele a few blokes who made me feel more welcome than near enough any place I have been in the Cannock area.

Beer; all tap stuff, no MILD, no real ale. I had a bottle of Mann’s Brown

This is a very basic place. It was really friendly on my visit, but the lack of beer choice means I wouldn’t go back.
