A 2nd first review of the day - Pubs Galorer's obviously dont go on holidays up here.

This looks like it has been closed a while and reopened as a community pub. Very tidy inside and decorated to a high standard. A front bar, with church pew style seating and wooden chairs - both of which leave you with a bad back. A rear room that could do with a pool table instead of the far too many table and chair combinations.

Beerwise, two real ales on. One I couldnt find anything on Untappd or find the brewery on the internet. Manu by Tym brewery. The other and in much better condition was a Brew York Pale Ale.

Update: Popped back on a Thursday evening and every one of those back room tables was occupied by diners - £11 Beef Bourguignon a big hit. I know this as I had some. And I was carrying my pizza tea back to the cottage. Shows what I know about the pub trade :-)
