L shaped pub with quite a plain interior.1 real ale served. Either this or 1780 will be your first/last if doing the rose street pub crawl.

Scott's is the first pub you come to when entering Rose Street from the West so is an excellent place to start a Rose Street crawl. It is a small, lively bar with 2 TV screens showing sports. It's usually loud, but you can always get a seat if required. Good banter from the staff and customers is usually on offer. The barman is knowledgeable about his beers, and the character of the pub is more traditional and "back street" than you'd expect from its location. Although a GBG pub, there was only one ale on this visit, Deuchres IPA. That said it was very well kept, in good condition and most enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit for its beer quality and ambience.
