E TA left this review about The Vault Bar
A bit of dive, this is a corner bar which shares its outside seating area, and its sea views. Its exterior is shabby and weather-beaten, paint flaking and not particularly appealing. On entry you find a food servery on the left, although it appears to be unused for some time other than as a storage area for furniture and cardboard boxes. On the right is the main bar, somewhat more appealing than expected. It's on two levels, one step apart. The area by the bar servery has 2 TV screens, a dart bard and a couple of tables, pus there are several bar stools. You then step up into a bright open corner room with views out to sea and more tables. Both sides have lino floor tiles. The barman was amiable enough, not intrusive, and was happy to see us. The other customers were elderly locals. Three handpumps on the bar but only one ale on, Branscombe Golden Fiddle, which was in good condition. Also available were Madri, Guinness, Sandford Devon Mist, Thatcher's Gold, Stella and Budvar. No food is currently served, and they don't open until after lunch anyway, so this isn't Seaton's best bet.
