Paul McScotty left this review about The Spirit Bar
A fairly large bar that always feels to me as if you are entering a cave - on entering you arr met be the bar (on your left) and further on is a separate area (even more cave like) where karaoke and music is played and they also on occasions get some really good live acts playing. Prices are pretty good (£1.90 for a Smirnoff and coke - Jan 2014) and has the usual standard drinks (all priced to sell) - toilets need a clean but are 100 times better than the last time I visited this pub - During my visit there was a couple with 2 dogs (amazingly dressed in Celtic home and away kits) and I was also offered an Irish orgs newspaper - that kinda says a lot about the bar not for the faint hearted (and not for similarly mad Rangers fans) You'll like it if you like this sort of place and share these views otherwise turn around go to the Tollbooth if you want the lasgow/ Irish experience
