Old Boots left this review about Old Horn Inn

A community run pub on the slopes above the River Ure in Wensleydale. Closed for a few years its now open again and is a pub of multiple spaces. At first sight a bit of a maze but actually a fairly straight run of three areas. The main counter is towards one end but the middle space, with seating areas either side. It’s decorated in a light modern style rather than a heavy old dales way, it has cream walls with local photos and light wood furniture including our favourite banquette seating. The other end has table and chair seating. There are big screens, a dart board at one end and some piped music but at a just about acceptable level, helped by being hits of the 1960s and 70s. Beers from Wensleydale and Theakstons on the three pulls, a five tap low T-bar carries a couple of lagers, a brace of ciders and Guinness. The cask was decently kept and there are a pair of Camra awards for pub saving and community efforts, one local and one national. Further down the same road is the Cover Bridge Inn so a good two hander of well run pubs.
