Blue Scrumpy left this review about Streethead Inn

The Street Head Inn has lovely views over the Yorkshire Dales. It is situated on the main road between Leyburn and Skipton. There is a small bar area with 2 separate dining rooms and a higher room that looks like it is normally used for pool and darts, but with both the dartboard and the pool table covered up, this too was being used for diners. There is also a decent size outdoor area to the front on the roadside. Half is covered with patio heaters, with the remainder open air. We chose this outdoor area to sit in, with almost all tables inside occupied by diners or reserved.

The bar area was packed with what looked like a stag party when we arrived. It made getting served quite difficult. However, the pub soon got much quieter when a bus arrived to pick them up and take them elsewhere.

At the bar, Theakston Best Bitter & Wensleydale Semer Water are the regular cask ales. The guest beer was Timothy Taylor Landlord. Keg beers included Theakston Smooth Dark & Old Peculier & Camden Eazy. I'd never tried the Eazy before. This looked like a good opportunity to do so. It was quite pleasant and not as expensive as I'd anticipated.

The pub owns a nearby bunkhouse and caravan site. So, I'd imagine quite a few of their customers also visit the pub. Dogs are welcome.

Very impressive looking pub from the outside and equally as good inside with it's beamed ceilings and beautiful antiques. A pleasant stop on a mid summers day to take a beer outside and sit in the sun.
