The Lord Clyde is the undisputed worst pub in Kimberly. Like most a former hardy and Hanson’s pub that Greene King in inherited but nothing like their usual family eatery chain type offerings which makes me wonder why they keep this place on their books. A total dive inside the interior is ragged and old and clearly has not been updated or replaced in decades. The pub is just one square room with large curved bench seating up to the front window and a few tables and chairs scattered with only supporting beams and fruit machines filling up the empty spaces. Aside from a man and his dog we ere the only punters in on a Saturday night which if frankly pathetic but then again why would anyone want to come in somewhere like here? The bar was to the right corner and had four pulls with only Hardy and Hansons bitter available which is one more than I thought I’d ever get in here and wasn’t badly priced at £2.70. It was in ok condition but had a really strong strong malty sweet taste that was not very nice and slightly off putting but was at least drinkable which I take as a real bonus here. Later on as we were leaving some football dick heads wandered in shouting so we abruptly left never to return., An out and out dive with toilets that stunk rotten, something must be done because this pub is dire.

The Lord Clyde is a decent looking pub that has got two large distintive bay windows at the front.
Once inside the pub was quite nice and comfortable with a couple of rooms, the pub used to be a Kimberley tied house and there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Kimberley bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Kimberley mild.
This pub is now a GK house with their inferior beers on the bar.
